Parts, Shipping and Receiving Associate

A Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of a warehouse, distribution center, or retail facility. The role ensures accurate, timely, and safe handling of products while maintaining detailed inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and damage, and verify against packing list.
- Pull components for project
- Ensure work order match the project
- Close out and move up work orders
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or conveyor systems (if certified).
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure efficient shipping processes.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
- Returning unused parts to inventory
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move packages (typically 30–50 lbs).
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with shipping software, scanners, or inventory systems (preferred).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous Forklift certification
- High School diploma or GED
