Duties
- Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing as needed to support kitchen operations
- Clear and buss tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area
- Support in cleaning and sanitizing workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely during food delivery and setup, adhering to safe lifting practices
- Communicate clearly with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and basic food preparation skills
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for in-person customer service and teamwork
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness, bussing, and food safety standards
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
