As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for performing systems engineering and software development in multiple large enterprise server environments (e.g., Linux, Red Hat, and CentOS) in support of the mission!

What You Will Be Doing :
Providing technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
Analyzing functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
Preparing required documentation (program-level and user-level).
Assisting in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
Performing technical evaluations and analysis.
Supporting the customer in the development and maintenance of systems baseline.
Assessing server loads and working with technical leads to develop tuning recommendations.
Providing operational pager/phone duty support.
Completing day-to-day operations & maintenance tasks.
Performing operating system software updates, upgrades, and patches.

Required Skills
Must Have :
MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
A minimum of 11+ years' experience.
Linux experience including Red Hat and its derivatives (centOS, RHEL, RockyOS).
Experience in shell scripting and manipulating the Linux command line.
Experience providing Linux Administration support.
Experience providing engineering infrastructure support.

Desired Skills
Nice to Have :
Experience with the following languages: Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Manifests, and Foreman).
Experience with cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
Experience with CaaS (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenShift).
Experience with LAMP.

Additional Details
Compensation & Benefits: This position has an anticipated salary range of $218,400–$336,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, education, certifications, and business needs.
