Position Summary
We’re looking for a Superintendent who takes ownership — someone who treats every project like it’s their own backyard and every client like they’re family. You’ll be the face of ABP on-site, managing all phases of luxury pool and landscape builds from ground break to final walkthrough.
This is a mobile, client-facing role. You’ll move between job sites across the Valley, coordinate with subs, and keep projects on time without sacrificing the quality that sets us apart.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Project Management
- Lead all phases of construction: planning, scheduling, procurement, build, and quality control
- Manage on-site personnel, materials, equipment, and subcontractors with clear expectations and accountability
- Deliver projects on time — every time — without compromising our standard of work
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any change orders
- Be the person clients trust on-site — communicate proactively, handle concerns with grace, and never leave someone guessing
- Coordinate with our project coordinators, designers, and office team to make the client journey seamless from contract to completion
- Represent ABP with confidence and humility in client meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs
What You Bring
- Proven experience in pool and/or landscape construction — you know the phases, the trades, and the sequencing
- Strong client-facing skills; you’re comfortable being the adult in the room and communicating clearly under pressure
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents
- Working knowledge of project management tools and basic MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Exceptional organization — you’re managing multiple moving pieces every single day
- Valid driver’s license and reliable presence across the Valley
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a genuine plus in our market
- A degree in Construction Management is a bonus, not a requirement — we care more about what you’ve built than where you studied
