Wake Spine & Pain Specialists is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant with hands-on experience assisting providers during in-office medical procedures. What You'll Do
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms for a variety of in-office pain management procedures.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during procedures, anticipating provider needs while maintaining a sterile, efficient environment.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields and procedure equipment.
- Monitor and support patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Perform patient intake, obtain vital signs, document in the electronic medical record, and provide patient education.
- Clean, stock, and organize procedure rooms and medical supplies.
- Collaborate with providers and teammates to ensure excellent patient flow and a positive patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent experience assisting with provider procedures in a medical clinic, hospital, surgery center, or physician's office is required.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Current CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique, infection control, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and organized in a busy clinical environment.
- Experience with electronic medical records.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
