We are a growing Property Management Company looking for a hands on, experienced, reliable, and skilled maintenance technician to assist us. We manage multiple properties in the Greater New Orleans Area and would like to hire someone with great attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, ability to troubleshoot a problem correctly, and can take constructive criticism. We would like someone who will be an asset to our team and be a long term employee who wants to grow with us.
Responsibilities:
Complete all work orders in a timely fashion
Manage time and schedule well, to get all work orders complete
Make repairs in vacant units to help get them ready for rent
Help keep ground free and clear of debris
*Resolve electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, installations, service, and replacements in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards
*These jobs can include servicing:
- Electrical circuits, breakers, switches, etc.
- Light fixtures
- Installation and minor repairs of appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers
- Toilets, sinks, vanities, and disposals
- Caulking
- Minor carpentry repairs
- Window screens and blinds
- Interior and exterior doors
- Minor painting and drywall repair
- Assisting with the removal of bulk trash (including appliances)
- Clearing drains and sewer lines up to 4'
Additional Requirements:
- **HVAC Certification is a plus, but not necessary
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb ladders
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a reliable cell phone with the ability to send and receive texts
- Must have own basic maintenance tools
- Must be able to be available Monday-Friday and occasionally on the weekends
Pay: $20 per hour
