Class A CDL Professional Driver
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Transport different types of goods from distribution center to customer locations via truck
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify/report any issues or needed repairs
- Unload cased products from the trailer to customer facilities
- Follow safety procedures, rules, and guidelines while driving and transporting cargo
- Maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours
- Delivery of orders consisting of boxes and plastic containers
- Manage proof of delivery documents and collections of each delivery, including writing credits for goods damaged in transport
- Assist in the loading and unloading of the trucks using hand trucks, pallets jacks, and/or roller conveyer
- Clean and fuel tractor and trailer
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Class A CDL
- 1 year driving experience
- Lift, push, pull up to 120 lbs.
- Must be able to operate hand truck with freight up to 200 lbs.
- Must be able to operate pallet jack with freight up to 1,000 lbs.
- Must be able to maneuver freight up and down ramp
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Complete a satisfactory MVR, Background Check, and Drug screen as determined by the company
Local and overnight routes available
