Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding cannabis products and their effects.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering practices.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about various strains, edibles, and accessories.
- Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits and features to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise through effective merchandising techniques.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience in retail sales or a related field; experience in hospitality, bartending/server, sales would be a plus but is not necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and performing daily inventory audits.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems.
- A passion for cannabis culture and learning about of various products is highly desirable.
Compensation
- Tip Pool Eligible

- $15 per hour for the first 90 day probation period then advanced to $16 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
