Summary
The Lead Dispensary Associate partners and supports the Management Team to ensure operational compliance, meet sales metrics, drive staff performance excellence, achieve optimal customer satisfaction, and asset protection. You will serve as a keyholder and Agent-In-Charge, with availability to open and close the store.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safeguarding Windy City's people, cash, property and data by enforcing safety rules.

Perform Front and Back of House Agent-in-Charge duties.

Coach and provide feedback to dispensary associates.

Manage inventory and maintain store cleanliness.

Handle customer issues in accordance with company policy.

Lead audits, staff training, and compliance initiatives.
Work Skills and Qualifications

Genuine passion for customer service and team leadership.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to effectively operate POS and inventory systems.

Familiarity with cannabis industry trends and inventory procedures.
Role Requirements
-
At least 1 year in retail or hospitality industry using Point of Sales and basic computer skills, cannabis retail experience a plus.

At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience is preferred.

At least 21 years of age.

Ability to obtain a dispensing agent identification card issued by the state of Illinois.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct

Exceptional customer service skills, positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.

Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, standard operating procedures, state and local laws for working in the cannabis industry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time, use hands to perform manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance).

Must have open availability and in good standing
- All Team Members who have successfully completed six months of employment in their current position and are in good standing will be considered for promotion and are encouraged to apply to open positions. Being in “good standing” means an accrual of less than five attendance points and less than seven cash handling points. Additional criteria may apply based on the skill, experience, and training requirements for the role, as well as any special certifications necessary for the role.
