Creates, maintains and promotes a positive atmosphere
Perform routine nursing care for residents including assistance with meals, treatments, oral care, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and other duties as assigned.
Chart required information as instructed.
Observe residents carefully, noting and reporting any changes in condition or any other important information to supervisor.
Follow established policies and procedures of facility.
Perform housekeeping and laundry procedures as assigned.
Follow all cleaning and laundry procedures and instructions in the use of housekeeping and laundry equipment and products.
Provide quality resident care for all residents per Northampton Meadows standards at all times.
Encourage residents to be active and participate in group activity programs and therapy treatment if applicable.
Report any residents leaving the premises, medication in resident rooms, complaints, resident pressure areas, or resident abuse immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain a safe environment at all times, keeping hallways and common areas free of clutter and keeping group home lights on as needed for resident safety.
Assist in making residents’ beds, mopping floors, cleaning toilets and showers, serving meals, laundering clothes, cleaning common areas and performing other tasks as directed.
Perform vital signs and weights for residents as assigned.
Follow infection control procedures as established by the group home.
Follow and enforce smoking policies for residents and staff.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the group home director.
Attend the following committees and/or meetings:
o All Staff Meeting (Monthly)
o Departmental Meeting (Monthly)
o Shift Report (Each Shift)
o Other Committee/Meetings as directed by group home director
Instills confidence in the resident by performing duties in a competent and caring manner.
Maintains confidentiality of all resident and company information.
Performs assigned tasks in accordance with acceptable standards of practice as defined by state regulations.
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Other duties that may be assigned.

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Preferred)
