Off The Hook Bait N Tackle is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our shop. This is a laid-back environment, but we take customer service seriously. You’ll be helping anglers get what they need for a successful day on the water while keeping the shop running smoothly and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in-store with bait, tackle, and fishing gear
- Provide basic fishing knowledge and recommendations when needed
- Handle live bait and maintain live wells
- Stock shelves and keep inventory organized
- Clean and maintain the shop, counters, and work areas
- Assist with light cleaning duties as needed
- Handle cash register transactions accurately
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude with customers and coworkers
Requirements:
- Friendly, reliable, and punctual
- Basic knowledge of fishing (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be willing to clean and help with general shop upkeep
- Ability to lift and carry supplies as needed
Schedule:Flexible scheduling available. Weekends and early mornings may be required.
Pay:Pay will be discussed during the interview based on experience.
