About This Role
The Fulfillment Specialist is a key operational role responsible for ensuring products move efficiently and compliantly from intake to the sales floor. You will pick and prepare inventory for budtenders, intake new shipments, maintain accurate seed-to-sale records, and keep our back-of-house organized and audit-ready. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment. Your work directly supports the sales floor, ensures compliance, and helps deliver the premium Sweetleaves customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for the sales floor to ensure budtenders have accurate, compliant, and ready-to-sell inventory at all times.
- Accurately pull and stage customer orders and internal fulfillment requests in accordance with Sweetleaves SOPs and Minnesota cannabis regulations.
- Intake all incoming inventory shipments, ensuring each item is counted, inspected, and logged accurately into METRC, Dutchie, and the internal inventory system.
- Update the electronic inventory system with accurate data on all inventory movements, including receiving, storing, transferring, and fulfillment activities.
- Monitor product transfers, adjustments, and packaging details in METRC to maintain real-time accuracy of inventory levels.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits to ensure compliance and prevent discrepancies.
- Label, organize, and restock product bins and backstock areas to maintain an efficient and compliant storage environment.
- Maintain strict compliance with all state-regulated inventory documentation and Sweetleaves SOPs.
- Build knowledge of METRC, Dutchie, POS workflows, and other inventory or fulfillment systems used by the company.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, including storage rooms, fulfillment areas, and inventory intake spaces.
- Communicate inventory issues, low-stock alerts, and discrepancies to management in real time.
- Support special projects, product launches, and inventory-related initiatives as assigned.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Cannabis or regulated retail experience preferred
- Experience with seed-to-sale tracking systems (METRC)
- Ability to lift boxes, move inventory, and work in a fast-paced fulfillment environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
