This position is responsible for the security, treatment and general living conditions of all Persons in our Care (PIOC) assigned to three medium security, general population housing units. The Institution Unit Supervisor is an administrator responsible for all activities within the unit, including the coordination of all disciplines to address and monitor PIOC activities and well-being, supervision and direction of assigned unit staff, facilitation and evaluation of unit-based work assignments and treatment programs, monitoring, developing and maintain physical plant, and managing the daily unit-based services provided to PIOCs. Furthermore, each unit supervisor is responsible for development and maintenance of a specific institution-wide program and the supervision and direction of the involved and affected staff. The Institution Unit Supervisor is an administrator who is tasked with the development, implementation and monitoring of overall institution goals, policies and procedures as part of the institution management team and the ability to respond and perform in the role of Warden’s designee as required.
