Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Advanced Dance Instructors to inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of movement and self-expression through dance. Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of choreography, technique, and performance skills
- Lead engaging dance classes that motivate students, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and performance skills in various dance styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, or hip-hop
- Collaborate with other arts educators to integrate dance with visual arts, theater, or music components when applicable
- Organize rehearsals and assist students in preparing for performances or showcases
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and progress reports for each student
Skills
- Extensive experience in dance instruction across multiple styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop
- Strong technique
- Strong background in choreography and lesson planning tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels
- Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
- Experience working with children and youth programs, understanding childhood development and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with theater production processes and stage performance preparation a plus
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
