Seeking an experience asbestos supervisor to lead the asbestos abatement division.
Duties
- Manage and oversee all aspects of asbestos management and removal projects
- Develop and implement asbestos management plans in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct asbestos inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards
- Coordinate and supervise asbestos abatement activities, ensuring proper containment, removal, and disposal procedures are followed
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of asbestos control measures
- Provide guidance and training to staff on asbestos-related issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asbestos management activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in asbestos management or related field
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to asbestos management and removal
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to supervise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
