American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and an active MD or compact RN license.

Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit in a hospital setting

High-volume Labor & Delivery environment

No scheduling restrictions permitted — must be fully flexible with the facility's schedule

Local candidates are accepted for this position

Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of recent, high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required

Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), EFM, NIHSS, and NRP

COVID vaccination required — declinations are not accepted and a state record must be provided

Two supervisory references required: one from within the last 6 months and one from within the last 12 months

L&D-specific skills checklist required for consideration

Candidates must be willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours if not already held at time of offer

Candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours if not already held at time of offer
