Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facilities and industrial maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance team, ensuring the reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facility infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure high productivity and engagement.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Oversee electrical systems maintenance, including high voltage and low voltage installations, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Manage industrial maintenance activities across manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and facility upgrades to improve operational reliability.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and general facilities management to create a safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks.
- Expertise in electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications; familiarity with schematics is essential.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC systems, and facilities management tools.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on leadership development and team motivation.
- Proficiency in English communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to electrical work, industrial machinery, and general facilities operations; certification in relevant safety standards is preferred.
