Richmond Residential Services, Inc. (RRSI) is seeking a highly organized, solutions-focused, and collaborative Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic leadership support team.

About the Role
The Staffing Coordinator serves as the centralized point person for staffing operations across multiple residential and supervised living programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This role is designed to support operational consistency, improve staffing coordination, and assist Supervisors and Directors with staffing management processes so leadership teams can focus more heavily on coaching, quality improvement, program oversight, and staff development.
Responsibilities Include

Creating monthly staff schedules for residential programs

Maintaining staffing templates and approved staffing patterns

Managing the DSP Call-Out Line

Coordinating staffing coverage and schedule adjustments

Monitoring staffing vacancies, overtime, and staffing drift

Coordinating DSP Flex and PRN staffing resources

Assisting with reducing unnecessary overtime utilization

Tracking staffing trends and coverage concerns

Collaborating with Program Supervisors, Directors, HR, and Recruitment

Supporting staffing continuity during weekends, holidays, and staffing emergencies
The Staffing Coordinator will also assist with monitoring overnight staffing call-outs and emergencies as operationally necessary.
Schedule

Monday–Friday approximately 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Remote position with required office days throughout the year as operationally necessary
Qualifications
Required
-
Associate degree required
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in staffing, scheduling, healthcare, residential services, human services, or related field

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Preferred
-
Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar scheduling systems

Experience in ID/DD or residential services
-
Previous staffing coordination or workforce management experience

Additional Requirements

Ability to pass criminal background checks, state/federal screenings, and child abuse registry checks

Ability to complete required TB screening/testing

Valid Virginia Driver’s License
