Job Summary
We are seeking a full time Zamboni Driver/ Arena Support team member to keep our ice surfaces ready and ensure smooth operations within the arena. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating Zamboni machines to maintain high-quality ice conditions, supporting arena activities, and assisting with general custodial duties. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all visitors and participants.
Responsibilities
- Operate Zamboni machines efficiently to resurface ice surfaces according to schedule and standards
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the arena, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Assist with setting up and breaking down arena equipment for events, games, and practices
- Support janitorial tasks such as cleaning locker rooms, restrooms, spectator areas, and common spaces
- Monitor arena safety protocols and report any hazards or maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the arena remains clean, organized, and operational at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, players, and staff as needed
Experience
- Experience operating Zamboni is a plus but not required—training will be provided
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
