Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HDD/BORE DRILLING LOCATOR to join our construction and pipeline installation , role involves conducting underground utility locating, and supporting horizontal drilling projects. The ideal candidate will have experience.
This position offers an opportunity to work on complex projects within the oil & gas, water, and infrastructure sectors, contributing to the successful completion of underground installations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct underground utility locating for pipeline and horizontal drilling projects using specialized tools and techniques
- Support horizontal directional drilling (HDD) operations by monitoring equipment and ensuring accurate positioning
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including safety checks and equipment maintenance
- Follow OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe working environment on all job sites
- Maintain detailed records of locating activities, equipment usage, and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline installation and HDD operations
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and underground utility locating methods
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety
- Strong understanding of pipeline systems and related infrastructure projects
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL or tanker endorsements are a plus
