Position Overview:
The Middle School Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, standards-aligned mathematics instruction in a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment. The teacher will support students’ individual learning needs through differentiated instruction, integrate experiential learning practices, and contribute to a collaborative school culture that promotes continuous improvement and student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and academically challenging classroom aligned with the School’s Mission and Vision.
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction using differentiated and project-based learning strategies.
- Apply Universal Design for Learning and Multiple Intelligences theory to meet diverse student needs.
- Use data-driven assessment to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Reinforce Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to promote a respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development, MTSS implementation, and instructional improvement.
- Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with families about academic and behavioral progress.
- Integrate technology tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Sycamore) to support learning and school communication.
- Plan and organize field trips and experiential learning opportunities.
- Participate in professional development, educator effectiveness evaluations, and school initiatives, including environmental education.
- Comply with all school policies, procedures, and PDE requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Pennsylvania Middle School Teaching Certificate.

PA State Police Criminal Records Check
Pay: $53,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
