Position Summary
The Installer is responsible for performing high-quality residential renovation and replacement work for the Eby Exteriors division. This role focuses on the hands-on installation of exterior and interior building components, including windows, doors, siding, roofing, trim, and related systems. Installers work as part of a crew under the direction of a Foreman and play a critical role in delivering craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism that reflect the Eby Exteriors brand. The Installer is expected to work efficiently, follow company standards, and contribute positively to a clean, safe, and respectful jobsite environment.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Perform installation and replacement of residential exterior and interior components, including windows, doors, siding, roofing, trim, and related materials.
- Assist with demolition, preparation, and cleanup activities before, during, and after projects.
- Follow project plans, scopes of work, and instructions provided by the Foreman or Project Manager.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and jobsite safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members regarding progress, issues, or material needs.
- Handle materials and equipment carefully to prevent damage or waste.
- Treat homeowners, coworkers, and subcontractors with professionalism and respect.
- Participate in safety meetings, job briefings, and training as required.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, or exterior installation preferred.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry and residential construction practices
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in exterior and interior installation systems.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
