Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces pristine.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or appliances during deep cleaning projects.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently in both indoor and outdoor residential settings.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly desirable, with familiarity in cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and outdoor areas.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and proper use of cleaning equipment is essential.
- Experience with hotel or commercial cleaning environments will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple client appointments.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and understanding specific household requirements.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during deep cleans or outdoor work projects.
