Scrap Yard Worker – Hiring Now (Lebanon City, PA)
Location: Lebanon City, PA
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Scrap Yard Worker to join a busy scrap and recycling facility in Lebanon City. This role offers long-term potential, hands-on training, and the opportunity to grow within the scrap/recycling industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down propane forklift (minimum 2 years of experience required)
- Sort and process metal and scrap materials
- Operate front-end loader and baler machine
- Provide customer service to incoming deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Steady, consistent work pace
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a dirty environment
- Ability to work a 6-day work week
