OVERVIEW
Atlas Soccer Academy is a community-based youth sports organization. Our academy is dedicated to fostering a love for soccer while promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development among children and youth.
We are currently seeking a Youth Soccer Coach who is passionate about developing young athletes and leading a coaching team. This is an extremely fun, part-time position on WEEKDAYS AFTER SCHOOL and Saturdays. Experience in playing and understanding soccer is required, along with leadership skills to manage coaches and schedules.
This position is for our location in either or both:
- Sugar Land, TX
- Cypress, TX
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will oversee the coaching team, manage scheduling, and actively participate in field activities at Sugar Land, TX; Houston, TX; and Cypress, TX. You will also be responsible for teaching and developing soccer skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship among players.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and conduct soccer training sessions for players of various skill levels.
- Teach fundamental soccer techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Develop personalized training programs to enhance individual player skills.
- Organize and supervise practice matches and friendly games.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players and coaches to help them improve their performance.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes among players.
- Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate team activities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous experience as a Soccer Coach or in a related role is required, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, strategies, and rules. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to effectively manage behavior, maintain discipline among players, and lead a team of coaches. Ability to educate, inspire, and motivate young athletes.
SCHEDULE
Weekdays after school practice and league games on Saturdays, with responsibilities split between Sugar Land, TX, Houston, TX, and Cypress, TX locations. We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
- Previous experience as a Soccer Coach or in a related role is preferred.
