Duties
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of programs focused on public health, social work, addiction counseling, and community outreach.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and retention to build a dedicated team aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee program development by designing innovative initiatives that address community needs and promote social well-being.
- Supervise staff and volunteers, providing mentorship and performance evaluations to foster growth and accountability.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies utilizing social media management tools to increase program visibility and engagement.
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to program outcomes to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinate fundraising activities, including grant writing and donor relations, to secure resources for program sustainability.
- Represent the organization through public speaking engagements, community meetings, and media appearances to advocate for our mission.
- Oversee administrative functions such as budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in supervising teams within nonprofit or community-based organizations with a focus on social services or public health.
- Demonstrated success in program development from conception through evaluation with measurable results.
- Strong background in volunteer management, recruitment strategies, and volunteer training programs.
- Excellent public speaking skills with experience engaging diverse audiences effectively.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques to promote programs effectively.
- Experience in data collection methods, outcome measurement, and reporting for program assessment purposes.
- Background in addiction counseling, social work, or public health is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities including strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and team-building expertise.
- Administrative experience related to budgeting, grant writing, fundraising efforts, and compliance standards is essential.
