Overview:
We are seeking a seasonal, part-time employee in our grounds department. We are looking for an individual interested in working in an enjoyable, fun environment. As a grounds crew member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the golf course and surrounding exterior spaces of the club. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for landscaping. Little to no experience is required, as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Our typical season extends through November. This position requires work every other weekend (6:00 am - approx. 10:00 am).
Our employees have limited golf privileges on Monday afternoons, meal discounts, and uniforms will be provided.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our facility, ensuring a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment for our club members.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing greens, fairways and rough.
- Course setup including changing cups on the greens and raking bunkers.
- Operate and maintain various small power equipment such as string trimmers, push mowers, hover mowers and blowers, etc.
- General landscaping and debris cleanup
- Collaborate with the team to complete tasks efficiently
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscaping not required, will train the right candidate
- Proficiency in using mechanical and power tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical stamina to handle outdoor work and lift heavy objects
