Join our dynamic team as a Ground Man with a CDL license, dedicated to supporting professional tree care and landscaping operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with tree care tasks including pruning, trimming, and removal under the supervision of certified arborists
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment such as rigging tools safely and efficiently to facilitate tree work at various heights
- Support landscape maintenance activities like lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping projects
- Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and site planning to aid project execution
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations to protect team members and the public
- Help with equipment maintenance, inspections, and proper storage after each job
- Support crew members with logistics such as loading/unloading materials and managing job site organization
Requirements
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience driving bucket trucks preferred
- Basic knowledge of rigging techniques used in tree work and landscaping projects
- Growing experience or background in horticulture, arboriculture, or related fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with GIS technology, bucket operation, and landscape maintenance tools is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights safely
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in tree care practices
