Job Responsibilities:
- Setup, operate and repair multi-spindle screw machines.
- Must be able to Read and Interpret Blueprint and Quality Documents
- Restock Machinery with Raw Material, Produce Quality Components Using Gaging, Maintain Quality Documents
- Sharpen Form and Shaves, re sharpen drills.
- Change Gears and Cams
- Check parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints.
- Monitor the machine, detect malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed to control the process.
- Expected to operate and maintain multiple machines (up to 3) at once during a typical day to meet production requirements.
- Be willing to work with the maintenance, engineering & supervision teams to promote and support an atmosphere for quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience with screw machines.
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Must be self-directed and able work with minimal supervision.
- High School or GED Diploma
- Must have all hand tools for the job.
- Is required to lift to 40 lbs.
