Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable in-home caregiver to provide personalized support for an individual with developmental disabilities.
The client needs assistance with ADLs such as dressing, hygiene, and eating. The client will need a skilled DSP as they can engage from behaviors from time to time. The family is looking for someone who can take the client into the community to do recreational activities.
Responsibilities:

Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of adaptive equipment.

Support medication reminders or administration as directed.

Assist with light housekeeping related to the client's care.

Transport or accompany the client to appointments, errands, or community outings.

Monitor and report any changes in health, behavior, or needs to the family or supervising staff.
Qualifications:

Valid NJ Non-probationary driver's license

High school diploma or equivalent

CPR/FA certification if completed

Minimum one year of experience working in a group home setting with those with developmental disabilities

Must have own vehicle and valid car insurance to drive client into the community
