Job Overview
Operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers’ specifications in a modern, light-manufacturing, well-lit, and climate-controlled environment. Work alongside other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily and monthly goals in a performance-driven, goal-oriented culture. Perform minor equipment maintenance, adjustments, and quality inspections according to production standards while maintaining awareness and compliance with all security and safety policies. Benefit from continuous training through the TWI (Training Within Industry) program with certified trainers.
Responsibilities
- Machine Operations: Operate card production equipment and perform related activities in a fast-paced environment. Confirm work receipt, formulate/implement work priority decisions, and strive to exceed production output and quality standards.
- Quality & Maintenance: Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions. Work independently performing quality inspections on own work to production standards. Identify potential production/quality problems and recommend remedial, corrective, or contingency actions.
- Team Collaboration & Communication: Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to resolve issues and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Workplace Standards & Safety: Maintain a clean, orderly work area and uphold workstation housekeeping standards. Order supplies as needed, attend required training and meetings, and meet all safety and security policies/procedures.
Requirements
- Education & Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills and basic math skills required.
- Core Competencies: Good written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
- Problem Solving: Ability to write routine reports/correspondence, solve practical problems with limited standardization, and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to be decisive while supporting organizational priorities.
Qualifications
- Eager to learn and grow within a supportive, high-performance team environment.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical ability.
- 1–3 years of experience in safety rules and maintenance instructions.
- Intermediate computer skills.
Physical Demands & Additional Details
- Physical Requirements: Standing and operating a machine for 6+ hours per day. Safety shoes required.
- Compliance & Onboarding: Education (EDU) verification is required as part of the background check. All background screens must be fully cleared prior to start.
- Special Notes: Previous Machine Operator experience is no longer required. Convenient access to public transportation available at the site.
