Now Hiring: Lead Cook & Kitchen Assistant (NYC)
The Reset Kitchen is an experience where participants cook healthy meals in a fun, community-focused environment.
We're looking for:
Lead Cook:
- $35/hour
- Food safety and kitchen experience required
- Comfortable demonstrating recipes and assisting participants
- Responsible for cooking and overseeing the meals after ingredients have been cut and prepared by participants, with support from the Kitchen Assistant
- Ensures food quality, consistency, and kitchen safety throughout the session
Kitchen Assistant:
- $25/hour
- Kitchen or food service experience preferred
- Help with ingredient prep, participant support, setup, cleanup, and assisting the Lead Cook throughout the session
Schedule:
- Every Sunday starting June 14th
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
- 30-minute break every 2 hours
- Ongoing weekly opportunity
This is not a restaurant line-cook position. We're looking for people who enjoy helping others, creating a positive atmosphere, and making healthy eating more accessible.
