St. Anne Catholic School: School Cafeteria Aide Long Term Substitute Job Description Hours: hours per week, 8am to 1:30pm
Rate of pay: $13.50-$16.00/hour
Location: St. Anne Catholic School, 580 Oakview Avenue, Bristol VA 24201
Qualifications: ● Ability to pass criminal background check.
Duties:
Primary duty: Supporting the School Cafeteria Manager in preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to the students of St. Anne Catholic School. In addition, responsibilities include:
● Serving meals to students as directed by the cafeteria manager
● Assisting cafeteria manager in prepping and serving meals to students and staff
● Delivering preschool meals to classroom each day
● Acquiring and maintaining ServSafe certification for Food Handler
● Maintaining food inventory lists of ingredients and snacks as well as monitoring supply inventory
● Measuring students’ lunch portions to ensure that they meet federal nutrition guidelines per cafeteria manager
● Notation and recording lunch accounting for meals and snacks per Renweb format
● Collecting lunch order forms and preparing lunch count numbers for lunch prep
● Filling orders for drinks and snacks per order forms
● Serving hot meals to students, faculty members, and staff members in school cafeteria
● Setup and staffing snack table during lunch hours - monitoring inventory and reporting to cafeteria manager
● Cleanup of utensils, cooking equipment and surfaces and returning them to shelves/storage at the end of shift.
This is currently a long term substitute position that is needed M-F from 8:00am- about 1:30pm.
