A part of the K Lab production team. Primary daily responsibility is to handle and work with customers’ delicate products with precision and care. Duties include, but are not limited to ensuring lab cleanliness, sample preparation, customer sample inspection and handling, process equipment operation, optical measurement, process documentation, etc. Plenty of opportunity for growth into supervisory and/or management positions.

- High school diploma.
- Must be quick learner, self-motivated, and have mechanical aptitude.
- Able to reliably work a 2PM to 10PM 2nd shift, with a 6- to 12-month training period during 1st shift (7AM to 3PM).
- Must be able to handle small delicate objects with a high level of precision while using a microscope.
- Position requires working with standard laboratory chemicals, gases, and microscopes.
- Basic knowledge of vacuum deposition, visual inspection, and testing of optical components is preferred.
- Ability to use computer systems required, good operating knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.

· Perform all work independently per documented SOPs and safety protocols, thorough record keeping of all actions and operations is required.
· Assist in office administrative work and answer phone when office staff or senior staff not present.
· Assist Engineers and Managers in production/operations related work.
· General lab equipment/fixtures/work surfaces maintenance and cleaning.
· Daily preparatory work for projects to be processed.
· Incoming sample log and inspection.
· Operate scriber to scribe/break/cleave wafers. Including handling of fragile wafers.
· Bar loading/unloading using vacuum wand.
· In-process customer sample inspection and recording.
· Track/log all cleanroom lab consumables.
· Calibrate and take measurements using a spectrophotometer, data input into database.
· Post-process inspection, labeling, and packaging of customers’ samples for shipment
Pay: $22.50 - $35.00 per hour
