Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED and MOTIVATED mechanic to join our dealership specializing in imported JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) performance cars.
Duties
- To be able to do full inspections and diagnostic for every new car to make sure they are in good shape before being sold
- Be able to do ALL sorts of MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL repairs for cars (engine, transmission, steering, clutch, etc.) (headlights, car mirrors, car window system, etc.)
- Do the needed maintenance work for cars
- Detail/wash cars if needed
Requirements
- MUST have knowledge about JDM cars in general AND their mechanical components as they can be different than regular american cars
- PROVEN mechanic experience with a PREFERABLE focus on imported JDM vehicles
- Experience working with automotive diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting complex issues
- Familiarity with electrical & mechanical troubleshooting
- MUST have knowledge and ability to work on diesel cars as some of our cars do come in diesels
- Ability to work efficiently with power tools, hand tools, and powertrain components in a fast-paced setting
