Part-Time Cook
Location: Wood & Vine at Tanglewood Greens, Menomonie, WI
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager / Chef
Job Overview: Tanglewood Greens is seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time cook to join our team at our clubhouse restaurant Wood & Vine. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing high-quality meals for our guests, ensuring a great dining experience. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in an appealing and timely manner.
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, counters, and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and notify the kitchen manager of low-stock items.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service during busy hours.
- Participate in cleaning and closing procedures as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- A passion for food and creating enjoyable dining experiences for guests.
