Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results on a variety of construction projects. Duties
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as trowels, floats, and edgers
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete finishing tasks according to project specifications
- Install formwork and rebar reinforcement to support concrete placement and ensure structural integrity
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during pouring operations
- Apply finishing techniques including brooming, caulking, trimming, and stucco application to achieve desired surface textures
- Cut, shape, and install concrete components such as curbs, slabs, stairs, and decorative elements with precision
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols while handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction tools, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
- Skilled in concrete forming, pouring, cutting, rebar installation, and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of schematics for project planning
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols
- Experience with heavy equipment operation such as concrete pumps or mixers is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments

Pay: $27.33 - $32.91 per hour
