Core Responsibilities1. Front Desk & Client Experience
- Warm Welcomes: Greet clients enthusiastically as they enter and ensure they feel comfortable while waiting.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage the salon's booking system, schedule appointments, optimize stylists' calendars, and handle cancellations or rescheduling.
- Phone & Email Management: Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address client inquiries regarding services, pricing, and availability.
2. Financial Transactions & Sales
- Checkout & Cash Handling: Process payments (cash, credit cards, gift certificates) accurately using the salon's point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Retail Promotion: Encourage retail product sales by educating clients on available hair care lines and current promotions.
3. Administrative & Inventory Support
- Data Entry: Maintain up-to-date client profiles, including contact information and service histories.
- Inventory Management: Monitor salon supply levels and retail inventory; assist in ordering or restocking shelves as needed.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Manage daily register reconciliation, ensure the reception area is pristine, and prepare the salon for the next business day.
4. Team Coordination
- Stylist Liaison: Communicate schedule updates, client requests, or delays effectively to the styling team to ensure a smooth daily flow.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
