Duties vary per team area:
We have 3 different team areas - Recruiting, HR Daily Processes, Employee Relations and Compliance. Listed below are some outline items.
- Seek candidates and schedule interviews, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Insight.
- Ensure new hires are smoothly integrated into the company through Paycom new hires portal and document verification.
- Counsel and Coach supporting performance management initiatives.
- Maintian benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and compliance with applicable regulations like FMLA and workers' compensation policies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law, labor law, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
- Utilize HR systems such as Insight, reporting, payroll processing (Paycom, and personnel administration tasks.
Skills
- Talent acquisition strategies that attract and retain top talent.
- Ability to coordinate multiple HR initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, social media management platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, affirmative action planning, and OSHA standards to ensure legal compliance across all HR functions.
- Demonstrated ability in employee relations, conflict management, training & development programs, and performance management processes.
- Skilled in data analysis using Excel or HRIS systems for reporting on HR metrics like turnover rates or diversity statistics.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively handle confidential information and foster positive relationships with employees at all levels.

- 2 +years secondary education
