Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or hospitality roles with a focus on guest relations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for better understanding of food preparation and presentation
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
