Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS system (TOAST)
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and customer tastes
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food service during events or busy periods such as banquets or catering functions
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality environments, including banquet or catering settings
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety procedures
- Previous experience working with food handling standards and maintaining a clean work environment is preferred
