Every lit-up storefront, every highway sign, every monument outside a business. Somebody built that. At UFB Fabrication, that somebody could be you. We build custom signage seen by thousands of people every day, and we're looking for our next fabricator. Maybe you've built signs before. Maybe you've never touched one but you can run a MIG welder and you're ready to learn a trade that's always in demand. Either way, there's a seat in our shop for the right person.
Two ways in:
Experienced with signs? Your starting pay is higher, and you'll take ownership of custom projects from day one.
Skilled welder, new to signs? We want to talk with you about learning to fabricate signs. We'd rather train the right person than wait for the perfect resume. You start where your skills are, and your pay climbs as your sign skills grow.
The work: Fabricate and assemble custom channel letters, cabinets, monument signs, and one-of-a-kind builds. MIG weld aluminum. Read shop drawings and blueprints, measure accurately, and build it right the first time. Run saws, brakes, drills, grinders, and hand tools. Point at signs around town and say "I made that." Custom projects, never the same day twice.
You bring: MIG welding ability (aluminum is a plus, and we'll sharpen it). A tape measure you know how to read. Reliability, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude. Sign experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Work ethic gets you in the door.
We bring: Pay up to $40/hour. Where you land depends on what you can do, and where you go depends on what you learn. A real path from fabricator to senior fabricator to lead.
