Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
Insight Therapy Solutions is actively seeking a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a mental health clinic dedicated to making mental health care accessible, effective, and stigma-free.
Required Qualifications for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:
- Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) license
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority (where applicable)
- Experience conducting psychiatric assessments and evaluations
- Experience with psychiatric medication management
- Strong clinical judgement and diagnostic skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth pratfom
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Daily Responsibilities of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:
- Will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with the state regulations and best clinical practices
- Assists with or complete prior authorization for medications
- Collaborate closely with therapists and multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Complete all clinical documentation accurately, thoroughly, and within established timelines
- Will provide services via telehealth, in-person, or a hybrid model depending on organizational needs and state licensing requirements
- Performed other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership
