American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience who can perform both X-ray and MRI in a freestanding ED setting.
-
MRI Tech position in a freestanding Emergency Department with approximately 50% ED patients and 50% outpatient patients
-
Candidate must be able to perform both X-ray and MRI studies
-
Adult and pediatric patient population across acute care and outpatient settings
-
Uses GE and Siemens MRI equipment with PACS
-
Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Schedule is 4x10 hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
-
No call requirements
-
No weekends required
-
Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required

BLS and ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications required
-
WA State certification in both MR and Radiology required
-
License required if applicable

Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings required

Trauma Level I experience preferred

Skills required include preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE

Proficiency in abdominal, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI imaging required

Fluoroscopy skills required

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility

Active compact license is honored at all Swedish facilities
