Applegreen US is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Service Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. As a vital part of our food service operation, you will engage with customers, assist in food preparation, and contribute to a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting guests in a friendly manner.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Utilize POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience operating cash register is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in food preparation or sales is an advantage but not required.
