IMMEDIATE HIRE – General Labor for Military Installation Construction Jobs (Southside)
Pay: $17 – $18 per hour
We are currently accepting applications for General Laborers to work on construction projects at local military installations. All applicants must be able to pass a Federal Background Check in order to access the base.
If you already have active clearance or base access for local military facilities, work may be available immediately.
IMPORTANT:
To obtain a base badge, applicants must have a clean background and proper identification. You will need ONE of the following ID combinations:
- REAL ID Driver’s License + Birth Certificate + Social Security Card
- OR
- Valid U.S. PassportThese documents are required for base badging. Applicants without proper identification will not be eligible for these positions.
Please bring proper identification for the I-9 when coming to complete an application.
Qualifications
- Flexible and dependable
- Great attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation (required)
- Experience using hand tools
- Ability to bend, stand, and lift at least 75 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, climb stairs/ladders, and push/pull heavy or awkward objects
- Ability to work in a noisy construction environment
- Ability to work around dust, dirt, and debris
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors, including in inclement weather
Additional Requirements
- Must have your own vehicle to drive to and from the job site
- Vehicle must have valid registration and insurance
- Must wear steel-toed, over-the-ankle work boots
