WCC Furniture & Mattress Center is a quickly-growing locally owned and operated furniture company seeking a Warehouse/Maintenance worker to join our hard-working team. This position is a Full Time position with customer interaction.
Job Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Properly load customers' vehicles with their merchandise
- Assembling furniture to go onto showroom floor
- Performing small maintenance and repairs on furniture items
- Performing small maintenance to the building
- Cleaning the facilities
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and backroom area
- Properly storing merchandise in warehouse with supervisor directions
Job Requirements:
- Clean background (background checks, as well as random drug screening, are conducted on all employees)
- Ability to maintain a good attitude and good customer experience
- Furniture assembly experience a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot problems, with or without a team
- Accountable and dependable
- Must be able to arrive on time for work
- Ability to follow procedures
- Ability to lift 150lbs minimum, with the ability to lift 75lbs over your head.
Due to the nature of this position, applicants MUST have a clean background to be considered for hire. Background checks are required prior to the hire of ALL employees.
Saturdays are REQUIRED
All employees receive Sundays off and one day off within the week, to be determined by management.
