We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for our clients. Your expertise in various beauty techniques will enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of our clientele.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services, including Gel manicures, Gel pedicures, Dipping Nails, Acrylic Nails, Nail Art and nail enhancements.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate services.
- Upsell additional services such as Facials, Threading and hair Treatment to enhance client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure their needs are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and positive work environment.
- Must be adhered to follow Salon Rules & Regulations
- Must be fast in Services and maintain service time schedule throughout the day
- During Free time take part in Salon cleanliness, Deep Cleaning, Laundry, Towel Folding, Answering Phone Calls, Setting Appointments Helping Salon owner and other team members in other services for smooth operation of the salon
- Must maintain a professional and decent relationship with the client by not getting into clients personal discussions unless client themselves want to talk and share.
- During service make customer feel comfortable
- Make client feel more relaxed and comfortable at the salon
- Escort guests to and from workstation area
- Must maintain salon professional atmosphere.
- Clean, maintain and sterile tools
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift
- Must be 100% focused on a client‘s work during Service
- Make sure that client leave the salon premises happy with a beautiful polished nails and extraordinary service.
- Report all known accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Business Owner & Salon Manager to ensure matters are correctly taken care of in a timely manner
- Keep a friendly & professional relationship with all team members
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Speaking Spanish will be a plus point because our clients are mostly Spanish.
- Proficiency in nail care techniques, including but not limited to manicures, pedicures, and nail art.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to upsell services and products while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for the beauty industry.
