Flatwork Concrete Worker Job Description:
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Flatwork Concrete Worker to join a commercial concrete crew. This position focuses on commercial flatwork and foundation, candidates should be comfortable working outdoors.
Daily responsibilities include preparing and grading job sites, setting forms, placing, finishing concrete, using walk behind trowel, installing reinforcement, operating hand/power tools, assisting with foundation and flatwork construction while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications for Flatwork Concrete Worker:
- 1+ years of commercial concrete experience preferred.
- Strong experience with flatwork and concrete foundations.
- Experience setting forms, placing, screeding, floating, edging, and finishing concrete.
- Ability to read grade stakes and work from project layouts is a plus.
- Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and required PPE
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Position requires the use of standard PPE - hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, gloves.
- Background check required.
