Identify manufacturing needs for new products in development and ensure seamless integration into production lines.

Design and implement new systems, processes, and facilities to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Develop and maintain production documentation, including assembly instructions and standard work methods.

Assist with shop floor layout, manufacturing cell design, and installation of machinery and equipment.

Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.

Lead and support productivity improvement projects, including new product introduction and process enhancements.

Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring preventative actions are taken to maximize success.

Conduct root cause analysis, FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), and implement process improvements such as Poka Yoke (error proofing).

Support and train technicians, trainee engineers, and supervise sub-contractors as needed.

Collaborate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Significant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.

Technical knowledge of 4-stroke, spark-ignited internal combustion engines.

Proficiency with CNC and manual machining techniques, CAD/CAM software, and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.

Experience with FMEA, Kaizen/A3, and Poka Yoke techniques for process improvement and error proofing.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
